When James (Jim) Mixa founded Axim in 1984, he set out to create a company that did things differently—and better. After years working for other factoring companies, Jim launched his own firm, soon unveiling a major differentiator … technology.

Jim’s commitment to innovation led to the creation of our first proprietary AR system in 1990, a foundation that’s continually evolved to meet modern business needs. By 2002, with the launch of Axcelerate AR, we embraced advanced technology to further streamline AR management for our clients. Along the way, Jim’s wife Denise and children Jodie and Erik joined the team. Erik is now Axim’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), leading the company alongside his father.

What started with one client in the factoring industry grew into a trusted accounts receivable outsourcing firm with a notable client portfolio. As a family-owned business, Axim has always been about more than numbers. Our focus is on building long-lasting relationships.
